Tell me more about Channel Link

We have been using Channel Link for 18 years and sometimes we miss the obvious and do not reveal enough. Susan wrote an article on Channel Link and it is in the Adventures and Stories Section. Here is a list of “facts” about Channel Links. Always keep in mind that every GM has the power of rule 3.4 to modify the game her way.


Channel Link provides mind-to-mind communication for a party.


Channel link has a variable range, depending on the interference of the area. Warped and Wasted areas one mile or less, Normal areas five miles, Od areas ten miles. See your GM for todays Channel Link weather.


Joining a Channel Link is voluntary.


You may be in multiple Channel Links.


If you go unconscious, you drop out of the Channel Link.


The time to establish a Channel Link is about two hours. Check with your GM for her campaign specifics.


Characters role-play entering their Channel Link differently. Have fun creating your own ritual.


Necromancers, Jikadell and others can use Channel Link. The problem is a Channel Link presumes a level of trust Necromancers rarely have. Up to GM’s to role-play this one.
